About MSEMT

This program is designed to provide the participants with a deep understanding and working knowledge of massage therapy and how it is applied to horses. This educational program will give participants a solid skill base to help them not only provide appropriate care for horses, but also set them up with the knowledge of how to build a business in the equine industry.

It is the goal of this program to teach the participants the skills to effectively massage and develop treatment plans when appropriate, while being fully aware of the scope of practice, and while always maintaining a relationship and communication with supervising veterinarians.

​​The equine industry needs properly educated massage therapists who are knowledgeable in skill and in the role, they play in equine healthcare. The MSEMT will provide a wholistic approach to equine healthcare, as well as prepare the participants for what comes next – developing a clientele and serving the equine industry with responsible, effective and capable intentions.
