Mentorship
This part of the MSEMT program sets our course apart from all others.

One of the most challenging aspects that former students experience after graduation is how to navigate the reality of being self-employed. The passion for the profession and the intention to build your own business is strong, but once you are out there on your own, the tasks at hand and how to orientate the industry can be overwhelming and lead to an unintentional ‘stalling’ of getting your business up and running, and more importantly developing a foothold that ensures success for many years to come.
Yes, there is a business course offered within the program at MSEMT, and the main requirement in this course is to prepare a business plan. This gives the students a wonderful opportunity to research and plan out not only how they want to run their business, but also to gain a peek into the reality of the numbers and therefore expectations they will be facing.

All graduates will have access to Tracey for four months – during which they will each have four, 1-hour coaching sessions.

They can utilize that time to ask questions, share ideas and get feedback, and perhaps just to have a pep-talk to keep them focused and on point.
Being an entrepreneur at heart, Tracey also owns and operates Equestrian Elements Life Coaching – a business she started up in the fall of 2020. Tracey has acquired a five-level certification in life coaching and has successfully helped individuals navigate their nerves in the show ring, become more organized and inspired to achieve their goals, and to start successful businesses from the ground up! Life coaching is a wonderful addition to every entrepreneur’s briefcase – just ask Tracey, as she has her own coach too!

For those who want to commit to their entrepreneurial journey with additional coaching and guidance, an additional coaching package can be purchased, which will take the graduate through their first full year of self-employment
